Distance Sales Agreement

The agreement formed when you buy threadOS credits or a plan. The short version: credits land in your workspace the moment payment is confirmed, the imagery you generate is yours, and we refund unspent credits within 14 days.

This is a translation, provided so you can read what you are agreeing to. The sale is governed by Turkish law and the Turkish text of this contract is the operative version; where the two differ, the Turkish prevails.

1. The parties

This agreement is formed by electronic means between the Seller identified below and the Buyer — the person or company that opens an account on threadOS and purchases the service.

1.2. The Buyer

The holder of the name and email address passed to us by Google or Apple at sign-in, together with the billing details entered at checkout. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of those details.

2. Subject and scope

The subject of this agreement is the sale and performance of the digital service ordered electronically at threados.artifextechnology.com, whose characteristics and price are set out below. The Buyer confirms having been informed as required by Turkish consumer law (Law 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation) and having approved this agreement electronically.

Use of the service is also governed by our Terms of Service, and the processing of personal data by our Privacy Policy; both form part of this agreement.

3. What is sold

threadOS is an AI production platform that generates commercial imagery from a product photograph. The service is delivered entirely online; nothing physical is shipped.

Credit — the unit of use. One image at standard quality spends one credit; high quality spends two. The cost is always shown before the button that spends it.
Plan — a monthly subscription that grants a set number of credits at the start of each period. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
Credit pack — a one-off purchase of credits, with no expiry while the account is open.
Automatic credit return — if a render fails technically, or fails the Seller's own product-fidelity check, the credit is returned automatically. The Buyer does not pay for an image that could not be produced.

4. Price and payment

Prices are in Turkish lira and include VAT. No shipping, delivery or service fee is charged.

Payment is taken at checkout by credit or debit card through iyzico Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. The payment page is served by iyzico and encrypted with 256-bit SSL.
The Seller never sees or stores card details; card data goes only to the payment institution.
An invoice is sent electronically to the account's email address once payment is confirmed.
On a plan, the fee is charged the same way at the start of each period. The Buyer may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Prices may change. A change affects future orders only — the price of an order the Buyer has approved is never altered afterwards.

5. Performance and delivery

The service is intangible and digital, and is performed instantly by electronic means:

The Buyer completes payment and the provider confirms it.
The moment that signed confirmation reaches our systems, the purchased credits are granted to the Buyer's workspace. This normally takes seconds; the maximum is 24 hours.
Delivery is complete when the credits appear in the account, and the Buyer may begin generating.

If payment has been taken and no credits appear within 24 hours, the Buyer should write to [email protected]: the order is either completed or refunded. Details are in Delivery and Returns.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, there is no right of withdrawal for services performed instantly by electronic means or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer. Because threadOS credits are usable immediately after payment is confirmed, this sale falls within that exception, and the Buyer acknowledges having been informed of it at checkout.

On a plan, the Buyer may end the agreement prospectively at any time by cancelling future periods.

7. Voluntary refund commitment

Despite that statutory exception, the Seller commits to the following:

Credits that are entirely unspent are refunded in full if requested within 14 days of purchase.
Where part of the credits has been spent, the unspent part is refunded pro rata.
Where a fault made the service unusable, a refund is made regardless of the 14-day window.
Spent credits are not refunded: the imagery they paid for was produced and delivered.

Refunds go to the card that paid. The Seller processes an accepted request within 14 days; it can take a further 7–14 days to appear on the statement, depending on the bank.

8. The Buyer's undertakings

to be over 18 and legally able to enter this agreement;
to have read and approved the pre-contractual information — the characteristics of the service, the VAT-inclusive price, the payment and delivery method, and the withdrawal exception — before ordering;
to hold the rights and permissions needed for the photographs and content uploaded to the platform;
not to use the service contrary to the Terms of Service.

9. The Seller's undertakings

to provide the service as described, in accordance with this agreement and applicable law;
to claim no rights in the generated imagery — the Buyer may use it commercially without attribution and without further payment;
not to train models on the Buyer's uploads and not to license them to third parties;
to inform the Buyer in the event of force majeure or a provider-side interruption of the service.

10. Personal data

Personal data is processed under Turkish Law 6698 (KVKK), and under the GDPR where applicable, for the purposes, legal bases and retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy. For payment data, the payment institution is a controller in its own right under its own notice.

11. Disputes

Complaints should first be sent to [email protected]. A Buyer who is a consumer may also apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee where they live or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits set each year under Law 6502, and to the Consumer Courts above those limits. For a Buyer who is not a consumer, the courts of İstanbul have jurisdiction. Turkish law applies.

12. Entry into force

By approving the order the Buyer declares having read, understood and accepted every clause of this agreement and the pre-contractual information form. The agreement is formed and takes effect on the date the order is approved electronically. A copy is emailed to the Buyer and kept permanently available on this page.
