Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Artifex AI Creative Technologies for using threadOS. The short version: your products and the imagery you generate are yours, credits are spent on generation, and you are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
1. The agreement
By signing in to threadOS you accept these terms. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for that company. threadOS is operated by Artifex AI Creative Technologies.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple; keep that account secure, because anyone who can use it can use your workspace. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
A workspace admin can invite others and set what each person may do. Everything created in a shared workspace belongs to that workspace, not to the individual who created it — which is why leaving a shared workspace removes your membership without destroying the team's work.
3. What you upload
You are responsible for what you put into threadOS. By uploading it you confirm that:
- you own it, or have permission from whoever does;
- it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or likeness rights;
- if it shows a recognisable person, you have their consent to use their image commercially;
- it is not unlawful, and not sexual content involving minors.
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your files, send them to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and generate imagery from them. We do not use your uploads to train models and we do not license them to anyone.
4. What you generate
The imagery threadOS produces for you is yours. Use it commercially — product pages, campaigns, social, print — without attribution and without paying us again.
Two honest limits. First, AI output is not guaranteed to be unique: another customer's prompt could produce something similar, and neither of you owns the resemblance. Second, copyright in AI-generated images is unsettled in most jurisdictions, so we cannot promise you an enforceable copyright in a generated image — only that we claim no rights in it ourselves and place no restriction on your commercial use.
You remain responsible for the imagery you publish. A generated photo of a product is a depiction, not a measurement: if it misrepresents what you are selling, that is an advertising matter between you and your customers.
5. Credits
- Generating an image spends credits. The cost is always shown before the button that spends them.
- Your plan's monthly allowance refills; unused allowance does not roll over. Purchased credit packs do not expire while your account is open.
- If a render fails, or fails our own product-fidelity check, its credits are returned automatically. You do not pay for an image we could not produce.
- Credits have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable once spent. Unspent purchased credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase — see Delivery and Returns.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use threadOS to:
- generate imagery of a real person without their consent, or anything designed to pass as a photograph of a real event;
- impersonate another brand, or produce imagery intended to deceive about who is selling what;
- produce sexual, hateful or violent content, or anything unlawful where you operate;
- resell access to the service, or automate against it in a way that degrades it for others.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where it is not urgent, we will tell you why first.
7. Availability
We work to keep threadOS running but do not promise uninterrupted service. Generation depends on third-party AI providers; when one of them is slow or down, so are we. We will not delete your work to perform maintenance.
8. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. That removes your data permanently, including unspent credits, and cannot be undone. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of section 6, or with 30 days' notice if we discontinue the service — in which case you will be able to export your imagery first and any unspent purchased credits will be refunded.
9. Liability
threadOS is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death and personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change and material changes will be emailed to you. Continuing to use threadOS after that means accepting the new version. These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
