AI product photos for Amazon, Trendyol and Hepsiburada: a seller's checklist

Updated

Marketplaces reward listings whose images are consistent, accurate and complete. Plan a set per product — a clean main image, detail shots, an on-model or in-use image and a scale reference — keep light and background consistent across the catalogue, check every image against the real product, and always confirm the marketplace's current image rules in its seller panel before uploading, because they change.

Plan the image set, not single images

A buyer on a marketplace cannot touch the product, so the image set does the work of a shop assistant. For most products, plan these before you generate anything:

  • Main image — the product alone, centred, on the background the marketplace asks for. This is the image in search results.
  • Detail shots — fabric, stitching, clasp, finish, ports: whatever a buyer would pick up and look at.
  • On-model or in-use — apparel on a body, jewellery on a hand, a chair in a room. This is where scale and fit become clear.
  • Alternate angles — back, side, inside. Missing angles are the questions that become returns.

Keep the catalogue consistent

A store whose products are shot in twenty different lights looks like twenty different stores. Decide your brand's light, background and framing once and apply them to every product, so a category page reads as one collection.

This is what threadOS's brand DNA is for: palette, light, framing and tone are learned once and held across every shoot, and the same AI model can carry a whole collection.

Accuracy is a listing requirement, not a nice-to-have

Every marketplace requires the images to show the product being sold. An AI image whose colour, pattern or hardware has drifted is a listing that does not match its product — which is a return and, repeated, a problem with the marketplace itself.

Before upload, check each image against your original photo for colour, pattern, logo, material and proportion. threadOS does this on every render and returns the credits of any image that fails its product-fidelity check.

Check the marketplace's current rules

Image dimensions, background colour, text and watermark rules and the number of images allowed differ by marketplace and by category, and they are revised. Treat the seller panel's image guidelines as the source of truth and check them when you set up a new category, rather than relying on a number copied from a blog post.

threadOS exports images sized per channel, one by one or as a whole shoot, so one production run can feed several marketplaces and your own store.

Questions

Can I use AI-generated images on Trendyol, Hepsiburada and Amazon?

You can use images you have the right to use that accurately show the product you sell. With threadOS the generated imagery is yours to use commercially; accuracy is the part to check before every upload.

Do I still need a real photo of the product?

Yes — one clear photo is the input. AI imagery stages and lights your product; it should never replace knowing what the product really looks like.

Try it on your own product.

Upload one photo. Every image is checked against it before you see it.
